Jeff – He was in an accident in February and is still suffering a bit from it. He was traveling home and ended up hitting the van in front of him in a 7 car pile up. The air bags deployed and the fireman told Jeff that if those didn’t deploy he would have hit his face pretty bad. His car is a write off and is now parked at his office. The Woodwards were so kind to give us their 2001 Sunfire. The Sunfire needs a new transmission and Jeff’s work have found a used one and will help him with that. In the mean time he has a rental car – a Vibe which he is driving around (which I’m also enjoying!)
Jenny – I’m 30, I know CRAZY!! I turned 30 in January and had such a fun birthday. Thanks to my family and friends for making it so memorable for me. I really felt loved. Also in January I got a new calling – I’m now the beehive advisor and loving it!! What a great calling. I hope that I get to stay there for a while.
Chloe – She is learning lots right now with being in grade two, piano and brownies. She is busy!! Recently in school she was asked to pick a Canadian Olympic athlete to learn about. She picked Heather Moise who was in bobsledding. When bobsledding was on we were watching to see how Heather would do and she is the one that won the gold metal!! I thought it was so cool that Chloe had picked her and she won. We were very excited around here. Chloe will be getting baptized in November and is looking forward to it.
Logan – Feb. 8th he got his tonsils out. He was such a trooper. The nurse told him if she had a gold star to give out, she would give it to him. It was a hard two week recovery and I felt bad for the little guy. I wanted so much to take the pain away from him. He is doing so much better now and his voice even changed a bit. He was sure excited to go back to school and loved all the attention he got!! He is still full of life and making us all laugh.
Chelsa - Loves to sing and dance. Quite often I pass her room while she is playing poly pockets and she is singing. I love listening to her play pretend. She is very much a girl, still loves shoes, dresses and anything pretty. I love her reactions to things. She is a mischievous girl and pulls Jensen in with her!! Jeff one day had left his jelly beans out by the computer by accident (with these two you can never leave anything out!) I was getting ready and it was awfully quiet (I knew they were up to something). So I went looking for Chelsa and Jensen and sure enough they were gobbling those jelly beans like crazy. Chelsa was shoving them in her mouth then in Jensen’s mouth saying “here you go Jensen”. They ate almost the whole bag!! Chelsa is the mastermind behind all of these mischievous things!! Jensen just reaps the benefits. In Febuary I tried potty training her for two days straight and she didn’t have one success. I would have her sit on the toilet for two hours at a time and nothing. Then she would get off and flood the kitchen. And honestly it didn’t even bug her. So I decided instead of getting frustrated that I would just wait until she was a bit older and hopefully she will understand it better.
Jensen – Is such a cute little guy and makes us laugh. He has quite the groove himself when the music is turned on. He absolutely loves music. I love watching him dance around. He gets so excited to see me and cuddles with me – he is very attached to me. He started nursery and cries every time I leave, but not for long thankfully. He is now climbing up on everything and thinks it’s pretty fun to stand on the kitchen table. Not so funny for me. He is learning some new words slowly – he likes to imitate what you are saying. He is growing up so fast. He will be two in the summer.
