Preschool pictures

Chelsa has started joy school with three other kids and is loving it. My two good friends and I teach once a week. So they go three times a week. What a fun time for those three little kids. She will offically go to preschool next year and then kindergarten! Here are some school pictures of Jensen and Chelsa that were taken by the photogrpaher that did our family pictures - thanks Karen they are so cute!!

11 Years

Jeff and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary at the end of August. We had an opportunity to go to Windermere BC at the beginning of September for two days with out the kids to celebrate. We had a great time. It takes about 3 hours to get there and it was a beautiful drive. We stayed at Windermere Bed and Breakfast. This Bed and Breakfast is a bit different as it has five separate cabins surrounding the main house. We stayed in one of those cabins and then ate breakfast in the main house Saturday morning. The breakfast was great - muffins, bagels, bread, studels, yogurt, eggs, cereal, juice. After we checked out, we enjoyed walking through a farmers market in Invermere looking at all the things you could buy. Then we headed to Radium and sat in the hot springs there. That was pretty neat sitting in a natural hot spring pool surrounded by mountain. We then continued our journey home and stopped in Kootney National Park for a hike at Marble Canyon. Mom and Dad have been there and told us about it. I thoroughly enjoyed that. It was a beautiful area.

Our friends Gillian and Andrew had our kids for a sleep over Friday night and then Melanie Romeril was here and looked after them the next day. Thanks to everyone for the help. It was a blast!! Still hard to believe we have been married for 11 years - crazy!

Summer Fun

I just wanted to highlight some of the fun we had in the summer. July was packed full of extended family. My kids were in cousin heaven and loved that we had everyday planned. The first week after we got back from Echo Lake - I went to girls camp in the Kananaskis. It was so much fun and I would do again in a heart beat. Some of my extended family were here already and helped me look after my kids while I was gone at camp - thanks guys! After I got back we pretty much had something planned everyday - from parks, beaches, Stampede, attending two of the cousins baptisms, Calaway Park, Science Center, Birthday parties, Twilight etc. July went by very fast for us. August soon rolled in and Jeff was able to get a bit of time off. We did some day trips from Calgary - Calaway, Kananaskis, and ChuckeCheese. It was so great to have Jeff with us. August has some cold days so we had some indoor time of playing games, reading and watching movies. The rest of August was filled with playing at the parks, swimming lessons, jumping on the tramp with the sprinkler, and playing with some friends. Logan and Jensen both had a birthday in August - which I will post about later. Here are some pictures of the summer. (As you can tell I'm a visual person and love pictures!)
