Jeff's Birthday

Jeff's Birthday is always one week before Christmas - so it was fun this year because it was on Sunday! We had him all day. We made him his favourite foods all day. For breakfast it was of course - sugar cereal, pop tarts and orange juice. Lunch was frankfurter stew (hotdog stew) and dinner was pizza and pop! Angel Food Cake for dessert. He got a bunch of treats, movies, games, and books. Saturday night Jeff's parents took us to a Sherlock Holmes. It was a great movie - I laughed quite a bit!

Chloe's 9th Birthday Bash

Splish! Splash! Chloe is having her 9th Birthday Bash! There is something going on Under the Sea - crabs, fish and mermaids there shall be!

Chloe had an under the sea birthday. Here is some of the decorations. My friend lent me this awesome material and sea shells.


When the guests arrived we made a cool sand, candle craft.


We played a fishing game. There were two teams and they needed to fish for all different sizes of fish worth different points. The smaller ones were worth more points. Then we played pinned the neckalace on the mermaid. We had a treasure hunt. In the treasuer box I had made green noodles for seaweed and had hard past shells. In the bottom were gold chocolates coins, jewerely, crowns, and lipstick. The girls had to dig through the fake seaweed and hard past shells. Some of them thought it was pretty gross!

This was the cake I made. Cute hey? The girls ate the hair so that I could save the mermaid for her party in the evening. I just iced more cupcakes so she wasn't bald!

It's hard to believe that my little girl is now 9! Wow where did the time go? She is growing up so fast.
