Spring Break

During spring break we went to Utah!! (I know I'm a bit behind - better late than never). It was a blast and yes the drive wasn't the funnest, but we survived. Thanks to Melanie and Clark for helping with that - I would have never been able to do that alone. Here are some highlights from the trip:

Playing street hockey with the Hancocks, Carters and Hasslers. Just before that we went to Spencer and Lori's ward for an Easter Egg Hunt. The kids had a great time.

Riding Mike and Cynthia's dirt bikes - so much fun!!

Jenna giving everyone a ride on her motorized scooter - thanks Jenna!

Hanging out with sisters. The Hancocks came from St. George just to see us for the weekend. Thanks guys!! We had a blast with you.

Before church, matching hairdos for the girls. It was so much fun going to Cynthia's ward. What a great Primary President you are!

Going to the Treehouse in Ogden. What a fun place for the kids.

Cynthia you are awesome.

Jenna and Abby thanks so much for helping me with my kids. You guys are the best.

Logan and Ethan stuck like glue!! They had a blast together.

Samatha what a cutie.

Decorating Easter Eggs at Cynthia's house

We stayed at Cynthia's house for four days then we headed south to Spanish Fork to see my good friend Megan and her kids. Thanks Cynthia for having us we had so much fun with your family. This is Megan's house and one of her kids Gavin. It was so fun to see you Megan and see your house. Thanks for having us!

After spending the day with Megan we headed about 30 minutes north to American Fork where Jeff's parents live. Thanks for having us - we are a big crew! We loved your house and spending time with you. This is Logan at a place called Kangaroo Zoo - a place full of bouncers for the kids. What a blast. We went with Jeff's parents, and his two sisters - Brittney and Cammie and their kids.

Here we are decorating eggs at Grandma's house.

This place is called the Monte L. Bean Science Museum in Provo. What a neat place. We enjoyed looking at all the animals.

Saturday night we all went over to Matt's house for an Easter Egg hunt. So much fun for the kids. Grandma sure filled those eggs full of candy!! Thanks Grandma. We then stayed for Bentley's birthday party and had cake.

Matching hairdos - Rachel and Chloe

The kids lined up eating their cake.

Cammie with her son Kaleb and Brittney. So fun to hang out with you guys!!

Here is the birthday boy - Bentley and his mom Liz. Thanks for having us all over to your house!! It was so much fun to see your place and to hang out with you.
What a fun vacation. I really enjoyed every minute of it. I loved getting to know my nieces and nephews better and hanging out with everyone. Thanks for having us everyone. We love and miss you all.

Here's an Update!

Jeff – He was in an accident in February and is still suffering a bit from it. He was traveling home and ended up hitting the van in front of him in a 7 car pile up. The air bags deployed and the fireman told Jeff that if those didn’t deploy he would have hit his face pretty bad. His car is a write off and is now parked at his office. The Woodwards were so kind to give us their 2001 Sunfire. The Sunfire needs a new transmission and Jeff’s work have found a used one and will help him with that. In the mean time he has a rental car – a Vibe which he is driving around (which I’m also enjoying!)

Jenny – I’m 30, I know CRAZY!! I turned 30 in January and had such a fun birthday. Thanks to my family and friends for making it so memorable for me. I really felt loved. Also in January I got a new calling – I’m now the beehive advisor and loving it!! What a great calling. I hope that I get to stay there for a while.

Chloe – She is learning lots right now with being in grade two, piano and brownies. She is busy!! Recently in school she was asked to pick a Canadian Olympic athlete to learn about. She picked Heather Moise who was in bobsledding. When bobsledding was on we were watching to see how Heather would do and she is the one that won the gold metal!! I thought it was so cool that Chloe had picked her and she won. We were very excited around here. Chloe will be getting baptized in November and is looking forward to it.

Logan – Feb. 8th he got his tonsils out. He was such a trooper. The nurse told him if she had a gold star to give out, she would give it to him. It was a hard two week recovery and I felt bad for the little guy. I wanted so much to take the pain away from him. He is doing so much better now and his voice even changed a bit. He was sure excited to go back to school and loved all the attention he got!! He is still full of life and making us all laugh.

Chelsa - Loves to sing and dance. Quite often I pass her room while she is playing poly pockets and she is singing. I love listening to her play pretend. She is very much a girl, still loves shoes, dresses and anything pretty. I love her reactions to things. She is a mischievous girl and pulls Jensen in with her!! Jeff one day had left his jelly beans out by the computer by accident (with these two you can never leave anything out!) I was getting ready and it was awfully quiet (I knew they were up to something). So I went looking for Chelsa and Jensen and sure enough they were gobbling those jelly beans like crazy. Chelsa was shoving them in her mouth then in Jensen’s mouth saying “here you go Jensen”. They ate almost the whole bag!! Chelsa is the mastermind behind all of these mischievous things!! Jensen just reaps the benefits. In Febuary I tried potty training her for two days straight and she didn’t have one success. I would have her sit on the toilet for two hours at a time and nothing. Then she would get off and flood the kitchen. And honestly it didn’t even bug her. So I decided instead of getting frustrated that I would just wait until she was a bit older and hopefully she will understand it better.

Jensen – Is such a cute little guy and makes us laugh. He has quite the groove himself when the music is turned on. He absolutely loves music. I love watching him dance around. He gets so excited to see me and cuddles with me – he is very attached to me. He started nursery and cries every time I leave, but not for long thankfully. He is now climbing up on everything and thinks it’s pretty fun to stand on the kitchen table. Not so funny for me. He is learning some new words slowly – he likes to imitate what you are saying. He is growing up so fast. He will be two in the summer.

Jeff's Birthday

Happy Birthday Hun!! Jeff had his birthday on Dec. 18 and according to my kids he is so old. Logan quite often says I can't believe that Dad is 34 (meaning he is so old). Ok Logan we are getting old (but really it is all relative!). Jeff took the day off and slept in and had a long nap in the afternoon!! That night we went to Avitar in 3D. The special effects are really something. I always enjoy a night out!
