Baptism

On November 20, 2010 Chloe was baptized. What a special day it was and I hope it was special for Chloe as well. We had great support from family and friends. There we six kids getting baptized that day. Chloe was the second one in the group. She was wearing a white dress, so when Jeff was baptizing her the dress kept coming up. Jeff kept lowering her so that finally the dress went under the water. It seemed like she was in the water for a while. When she came up it seemed to me that she was just glowing. I felt very touched that my first child was fulfilling this special ordiance. What a blessing it is to be a member of this church and to feel the spirit at these occasions. Afterwards we all headed into the Relief Society room where our good friend Andrew was conducting. We had the cousins sing the Baptism song and then she was confirmed. Some of the things that were said in the blessing:
proud of the decision to be baptized. This is a key and stepping stone to eternal progression. She will have a great desire to pray for the spirit. She will have times when she will pray and receive it. She is a good example for others and a shining light for all to see. What an amazing person Chloe is and I love her so much! Here are some pictures:

She looks so grown up! I love the long white dress, she looks like she's going to the temple! (That will happen before we know it too!) Congratulations Chloe, I'm so glad to hear about how wonderful your baptism was. Emberly was baptised on Dec. 26th, it was so special and fun!

Chloe looks so happy and pretty on her special day! I just love baptisms, there is such a special spirit there. How neat that the cousins could sing and be together to celebrate Chloe's baptism. Wish we could have been there to be a part of it!
