Spiritual High
At the end of May, Jeff and I had the privilege of joining the Angevines in going through the temple for their first time. I was very honored to be Kristie's escort, which I really enjoyed. It was such a special day for them and to see their family together in the sealing room is something I will never forget. What a spirtual experience to see a wonderful family being sealed together for eternity. I felt the spirit so strong, and it just confirmed my testimony even stronger on the importance of the temple, priesthood power and eternal families. I feel so blest that Jeff and I had that opportunity.

The Switch A Roo....
We did a switch a roo with the kids rooms upstairs. The boys moved into Chelsa's room and Chelsa into the boys room. Jensen really needed to be put into a big boys bed. And because of that, that is what got me motivated re-do their rooms. I enjoyed thinking of creative ways and fun colors for their rooms. Here is the boys room:

Jensen is loving his new bed and his freedom. Not so sure if I'm enjoying the freedom. Bedtime is just not the same! I'm sure that he will soon get the hang of it. He looks pretty cute in this huge bed!

Painting the orange wasn't so much fun - four coats. But I love the color and the way the room turned out. Chelsa wasn't so sure about this new room of hers, but I think she is enjoying now. If she doesn't, I think I might just move in!

Happy Easter
What a fun Holiday for the kids. Jeff had good Friday off. We went to the Easter Eggstravagnza at the Zoo. We did a scanveger hunt and got Cadbury eggs at the end. We watched a clown and some cool break dancers. Logan loved that. We looked at the animals and had fun together. Afterwards we headed to Ikea for some lunch and shopping. We needed to get a couple of things for our house. Saturday morning Mom and Dad invited us to go along with them to the new Farmer's Market. We enjoyed looking at all the booths and stayed at bit to play in the play place they had there. The rest of the day was cleaning up and putting together Ikea stuff. We had friends over Saturday night for dinner and enjoyed hanging out with them. Sunday morning I had an meeting at 9:00, so we woke up pretty early to have our easter hunt. The kids loved it. It was fun to see the little kids reactions. Jensen was digging in and eating his chocolates right away. They filled up on sugar even before they had breakfast! After my meeting I picked up Chloe to go to a choir practice before church. Chloe has been coming to choir with me and is quite enjoying it. The Easter Program was so lovely. I really enjoyed listening to the music and program about the savior. Mom had a part in it and I got a bit teary eyed. She always does such a good job. I taught an Easter Lesson to the Beehives and felt it went very well. The Spirit was strong and I felt the Lord's help. I'm so grateful for my calling - I sure love it!! I really look forward to Sundays. It is one of my favorite days.

Spring Break!
I really enjoy having my kids home and having the opportunity to just play with them!! The end of March we had that opportunity. It was the kid’s spring break. We did something fun every day. It started out Thursday night, with having the Rasmussen's over for a potluck dinner and playing Dance Central. It’s a game that we have on our X-box kinect. So much fun - you just copy the dancer on the screen and get points for doing the right moves. All the kids had a blast doing that. Even Gillian and I had some pretty good moves!! Friday we went to the library and Ikea for lunch. Saturday we had the opportunity to go to the temple. My friends were in Cardston visiting family and had offered to look after our kids. It was so nice of them and I felt very grateful for their service. We haven't been in a while, and I have missed going.
Monday Chelsea had all of us over for lunch and we had a present exchange. The kids love doing this. Tuesday we went to the Zoo. Wednesday we had friends over for a play date. Thursday Chelsea and I went to Red Deer to visit Laurette. We stayed overnight and left on Friday after lunch. Laurette is such a great hostess. Thanks for having us all - we are a big crew!! Friday night we had the Rasmussen's kids over for a movie night.
Saturday was General Conference and we hung out at home. Jeff and I started painting the kids room, while listening. I love General Conference weekend!
I had a great time with the kids. The time went by so quickly.

The Leighton Art Center
Just outside of Calgary, it the Leighton Art Center. It is a museum and art gallery. I had a chance to go with Logan's class for a field trip. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had a great time with Logan. We got to draw, work with clay and look at paintings from various artists. Thanks to Chelsea for looking after my kids - a busy day for her!

No more Diapers
Yay - as of Feburary, we have no more diapers in our house. Jensen did so good. I trained him the same time Chelsa was home recovering from her tonsillitis surgery. He basically got it in three days and was even trained at night. Woo Hoo!! 8 years of changing diapers and we are now done. I must say it is very lovely to leave the house and not worry about bringing diapers with you!!
